History:
Barangay Pagdalagan derived its name from a famous Ilocano fish called “dalag”, a slippery marine specie which thrive in fresh water. It is better known as mudfish. During the early years according to some of the old folks, its creeks, rivers and rice fileds are teeming with this kind of fish and so they coined the words “pag” “dalag” and “an” to become “Pagdalagan” which in English means “where mudfish are from”.
