History:
The name “Barangay Pao” came from a variety of mangoes, which is big, and with a bitter sour taste when the peeling is still green but becomes very sweet and delicious when fully ripened. The name of the mango is “Pao”, which was formerly an isolated tree and now grown in abundance in the place.
