History:
According to the olds residents of Barangay Puspus, the stream that divides it into two had continuous running water even during the summer/dry season. There was a part of the stream that went in circle continuing to flow downstream, “Agpuspusipus a danum” in Ilocano. The name of the barangay was derived from this phenomenon, “Puspus” for short.
