 Fifteen lovely little misses from various barangays of this city competed for the crown of the annual search for the Little Miss City of San Fernando and Little Miss Barangay on February 7, 2009 at the City Plaza as a part of the 10-day fiesta celebration of St. William the Hermit, the city’s patron saint. With the theme: “Rising Above Challenges.”
The candidates are Edsel Princes Pulido, Charrise Angelica Flores, Clareileen Fusilero, Andrea Nicole Ducusin, Princess Nichole Agustin, Edriana Venice Cariño, Jenwin Denise Mil, Devine Gea Casugay, Xyra Macelle Villanueva, Giselle Fabros, Angel Riel Rivera, Francine Bille Cruz, Meyar Jek Victoria Belena, Caryl Sofia delos Santos and Evryl Ricafort.
This yearly event aims to search beautiful and talented little ladies that would be given the opportunity to represent San Fernando City and to promote the city as a child –friendly city.
The winners of the search are Francine Bille Cruz – Little Miss City of San Fernando 2009, Giselle Fabros -Miss Barangay, Angel Riel Rivera -1st Runner-up, Andrea Nicole Ducusin, 2nd Runner-up and Caryl Sofia delos Santos -3rd Runner.
The event was spearheaded by Chairperson of the Committee, Hon. Francisco ‘Kit” Ortega and Vice-Chaired by Hon. Alfredo Pablo R. Ortega with pageant Director Kitchie Benedicto-Paulino and choreographer Mr. Carlito “Piglet” Nieva. |
