Everyone is excited during the first ever Santacruzan sa Palengke held at the Auxiliary Wet Market. The event was joined by the members of the Association of Market Vendors of San Fernando City. It was organized thru the management of Market Supervisor, Dr. Jessie Miranda. Prior to the Santacruzan, a mass was held inside the wet market as it marks the blessing of their chapel, afterwhich, Fr. Together with Mayor Pablo c. Ortega and the personnel of the wet market, bless the newly-renovated stalls in all the sections of the auxiliary wet market.
A Santacruzan is a popular religious festival held in many towns and cities throughout the Philippines as the highlight of a month-long celebration of Flores de Mayo during the month of May. |
