Anchored on the theme, "San Fernando, Atin 'To," the People's City glowed at night during the Grand People's Parade in celebration of its 21st Cityhood Anniversary on March 15, 2019.

The parade, which started at Pennsylvania Avenue at 6:00 P.M., featured colorful lights, indigenous, and recyclable materials incorporated in the costumes, props and awe-inspiring floats out of creativity and resourcefulness of 120 contingents coming from various schools, government agencies, non-government organizations, business sectors, establishments, districts, and barangays. The parade showcased the city's diverse culture, tradition, cuisine, livelihood, among others.

City Mayor Hermenegildo "Dong" Gualberto commended the full support of all participants. According to him, this event further strengthens the vision of the city towards a more progressive People's City by 2025.

City Councilor Maria Rosario "Charry" Nisce added that, with this event, it is clear that the love of all those who are part of this activity poured out with utmost commitment and dedication. She also said that the hand props were stunningly grander this year.
