Bay watch tower launched in marine protected area in Lingsat

SAN FERNANDO, La Union – The city government led by the City Environment and Natural Resources (CENRO) launched a newly installed sea bay watch tower to patrol and protect its 81-hectare marine sanctuary at Barangay Lingsat on Tuesday July 19, 2016.
Former Mayor Mary Jane C. Ortega reminded the coastal villagers to “protect the ocean like you protect your family,” during her speech as the guest of honor and speaker.
