City health authorities: Breast milk is still best for babies

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – The City Health Office still recommended breastfeeding as the best choice for babies during the Well Baby Contest kick-off ceremony of the Nutrition Month celebration held at People’s Hall, City Hall on July 8, 2016.
This year’s celebration is anchored on the theme “First 1000 Days ni Baby Pahalagahan para sa Malusog na Kinabukasan” by the National Nutrition Council.

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union-A 22-year-old Ilocano student recently graduated Summa Cum Laude in a university in Canada last June 14.
Carlatan village resident Kimberleene Odono Bolos took up Bachelor of Science in nursing at the Mcmaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Initially, she simply get a degree and pass the board exams later on according to her aunt, Cristy Ordono Zacarias, but an unexpected turn of developments intervened.
