Six students from La Union National High School (LUNHS) bagged medals in the recently concluded 2017 Milo Little Olympics. Jaymark Balicha, a Grade 10 student, won five medals consisting one gold, one silver and three bronze medals. Jayson Atos, a Grade 10 student, won three medals consisting two silver and one bronze medal. Niño Landingin, a Grade 10 student, won two silver medals. Dyrom Yoro, a Grade 8 student, also won two silver medals. Dranreb Emocling, a Grade 10 student, won one silver medal. Lastly, Mark Anthony Torio, a Grade 8 student, won fourth place.

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – A 63-year-old midwife from the City Government of San Fernando was recognized for her 40 years of public service during the commemoration of the 117th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary dubbed “Tugon sa hamon ng pagbabago, malasakit ng lingkod bayani” held in front of the City Hall last Monday 04 September 2017.
