The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) headed by Secretary Rex T. Gatchalian graced the payout of financial assistance during the Awarding of Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) – Livelihood Settlement Grant at the Covered Court of Barangay Poro on March 15, 2024.

A total of 682 beneficiaries personally received financial assistance from DSWD that aims to assist and support individuals in becoming productive members of their communities.

Moreover, City Mayor Hon. Hermenegildo “Dong” A. Gualberto and DSWD Assistant Secretary for Specialized Programs under the Operations Group, Asec. Florentino Y. Loyola, Jr., were also present during the event.
