A total of 104 delegates from the City of San Fernando, La Union joined in the 2023 Batang Pinoy and Philippine National Games held in Metro Manila last December.

The young athletes participated in different sports such as arnis, chess, karatedo, taekwondo, swimming, athletics, badminton, boxing, table tennis, and sepak takraw.

By the end of the event, team People’s City of San Fernando was able to secure a gold medal in boxing and three bronze medals in karatedo.
