The City Government of San Fernando, La Union (CGSFLU), through the Office of the City Mayor, officially launched the Wellness Weekends at the City Plaza on May 9, 2026.

Various activities simultaneously took place during the opening day across the designated zones at the City Plaza.

At the Wellness Zone, participants joined the opening program, a zumba session, and Acoustic Night at the fountain area. Meanwhile, the Recreation Zone at the plaza basketball court featured pickleball, table tennis, and martial arts activities, while the Children’s Zone hosted arts and crafts, storytelling, and playtime activities for children and families.

The Wellness Weekends will continue every weekend until July 26, 2026, featuring different activities focused on fitness, recreation, wellness, and family engagement.

This initiative aims to promote a healthier and more active lifestyle among Fernandos and Fernandas by encouraging participation in physical and wellness-related activities here in our #PeoplesCity of #SanFernandoTayo.
