ISSUANCE OF BUSINESS PERMITS/PLATES/STICKERS
About the Service:
Any person who shall establish, operate or conduct any business, trade or activity shall first obtain a Mayor’s Permit and pay the corresponding fees. The Permit must be renewed from January 2 to January 20 every year. Penalties are imposed after this period. Business taxes for new enterprises are based on capitalization. Application for new business shall be accepted on any working day from January 21 to December 31. Those for succeeding years are computed based on percentage of gross receipts/sales or graduated fixed tax. Payment maybe made annually, semi-annually or quarterly.
ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATION FOR RETIREMENT, WITH/WITHOUT PERMIT

Certification is issued to owner/operator or retirement of business, with/without permit.
ISSUANCE OF CERTIFIED TRUE/PHOTOCOPY OF MAYOR’S CLEARANCE AND BUSINESS PERMIT

PLO issue certified true copies of official documents granted by the office.
ISSUANCE OF FISHERY LICENSE FOR BANCA (MOTORIZED AND NON-MOTORIZED)
About the Service:
Individuals who are residents of the City with a motorized & non-motorized banca to secure a fishery license. Fishery License shall be renewed annually.
ISSUANCE OF FRANCHISE (MTOP/PA) OF MOTORIZED TRICYCLE
About the Service:
The Permits and Licensing Section issues Motorized Tricycle Franchise to qualified applicants. The franchise fee per unit is payable at One Hundred Pesos (P100.00) annually and within ten (10) days prior to the anniversary date of the issuance of the MTOP. Any franchise/MTOP shall remain valid for a period of three (3) years from the date of its issuance, renewable for another three (3) years.
ISSUANCE OF INDIVIDUAL WORKING PERMIT
About the Service:
Pursuant to Article B, Section 3B.01 of Tax Ordinance 2009-002 series of 2009, PERSONS GOVERNED. The following workers or employees whether working on temporary or permanent basis, shall secure the Individual Work Permit.
ISSUANCE OF MAYOR’S CLEARANCE
The Mayor’s Clearance is a document that is issued to an individual who need the same for foreign/local employment, operators/drivers of motorized tricycle for hire, firearms license, and other legal purposes. The Mayor’s Clearance certifies the individual to be a bonafide resident of the city, of good moral character, and is a law-abiding citizen.
ISSUANCE OF MAYOR’S PERMIT AND STICKERS OF MOTORIZED TRICYCLE FOR HIRE
About the Service:
All operators of Motorized Tricycles whether for hire or for private use. Pertain to their use, operation, maintains the grants of franchises to operate within the city. The Permit must be renewed from March 1 to 20 every year. Penalties are imposed after this period.
ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF BARATILLOS, FLEA MARKET, NIGHTMARKETS, TRADE FAIRS, AND OTHER SEASONAL BUSINESS IN THE CITY
About the Service:
Baratillo and Flea Market shall refer to a type of bazaar or shopping market where inexpensive goods are sold.
Trade Fair shall refer t an event at which the local products and capabilities of the different barangays/local government units, local farmers, individuals and cooperatives are sold/showcased/exposed to present/promote the same to distributors, wholesalers, retailers and end-users.
Night Market shall refer to a baratillo or flea market that operates at night.
Seasonal Businesses shall refer to businesses that operates during special season such as, but not limited to, the selling of Christmas decorations.
Special Permit shall refer to the permit granted to participating organizers, contractors and vendors in the baratillos, flea markets, night markets, trade fairs and other seasonal business in the City.
ISSUANCE OF STICKER TO HAULING/DELIVERY/TRUCK/VAN
About the Service:
Pursuant to Article G. Section 2G.01 IMPOSITION OF TAX. There shall be levied an annual tax for every truck, van or any motor vehicle used or maintained by manufacturers, producers, wholesalers, dealers or retailers of certain products.
ISSUANCE OF STICKERS FOR PUJ/PUB
About the Service:
Pursuant to Article I Section 31.01 Public Utility Vehicle Operations. There shall be levied annual sticker fee per unit on proprietors or operators of Common Carriers.
JOINT INSPECTION TEAM
About the Service:
A joint-inter action and cooperation of employees from various offices, facilities accomplishments of activities on all business establishments in the City at the same time. Resources are jointly shared to effectively and efficiently implement the activities of inspection.
