BUSINESS SECTOR COMPLETES EMERGENCY FIRST AID TRAINING

In compliance with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Department Order 235 or the Rules on the Certification of First Aiders, the City Government of San Fernando, through the Local Economic and Business Development Office (LEBDO), conducted the Emergency First Aid Training for 79 business establishments in the city held at the People’s Hall on October 14, 2024.
This training increased the knowledge and skills of participants in providing first aid and basic life support through discussion and hands-on demonstration.
Mr. Arvin Balcita, Mr. Jose Conrad Apolinar, Ms. Marjorie Catañeda, Mr. Jasper Bangisan and Ms. Catherine Bugtong from the Philippine Red Cross facilitated the training.
The said training aims to equip the participants with the necessary skills to respond effectively to accidents and medical emergencies in the workplace.
