CENRO INITIATES THE BLESSING OF THE FACILITIES IN BARANGAY PORO, SEPTAGE, AND LANDFILL

The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) led the blessing of the facilities in Barangay Poro, Septage Facility and Landfill with Fr. Arturo A. Valmonte.
Part of the facilities blessed were the additional communal wastewater treatment facility at the Poro Fisherman’s Village, The Biogas Digester at the Septage Treatment Facility, preliminary disinfection and storage of healthcare waste facility donated by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB), and the new access road at Engineered Sanitary Landfill (ESLF).
These facilities will help improve the services provided by the CENRO to all constituents of the city including the 87 houses to be catered by the wastewater treatment facility in the Fisherman’s Village.
In addition, this will improve the desludging services through the additional treatment of 30m^3 wastewater, for the storage and preliminary disinfection of hazardous waste, and easier road access to the tipping are of the ESLF during rainy seasons.
Joining the blessing were City Mayor Hon. Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, Barangay Council of Poro, Dallangayan Este, Dallangayan Oeste, Mameltac, and the EMB Region 1.
Towards a better quality of services in the city, the City Government with the CENRO will continue to improve its facilities for an inclusive and environment-friendly #SanFernandoTayo!
