The City Government formally welcomed the participating buyers and delegates of Animahenasyon 2025 during their northern leg of the AniXperience Bleisure Program on November 27 to 28, 2025.

The event was organized in partnership with our local government unit, the Animation Council of the Philippines (ACPI), CREATEPhilippines, and Create Your San Fernando, Elyu.

The visit commenced with a joint meeting of the City Tourism Council, Local Culture and Arts Council, and Creative City Council, followed by a welcoming dinner and networking session with representatives the Department of Trade and Industry – Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (DTI-CITEM), ACPI, and international buyers and animators from Japan (ASEAN) Center, the United States, Brazil, Taiwan, and major animation studios Dreamworks and Pixar.

Afterwards, the City Government, through the Local Economic and Business Development Office – Tourism and Cultural Affairs Division (LEBDO-TCAD), hosted the Digital Creative and Cultural Tour featuring our city’s tourist spots. The delegates also visited the Armada Logics and the College of Information Technology at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid-La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) to learn about the city’s growing digital and creative sectors.

The event concluded at the opening of the Maykan Mangan Festival where City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto welcomed the delegates and expressed the city’s support for creative partnerships.
