The City Government, through the Office of the City Mayor – Special Projects Office (OCM-SPO), conducted the Handog Pasasalamat Project for the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) last December 17, 2025.

The event commenced with a Thanksgiving mass, followed by a message from City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto.

The program also featured an exhibition game by the Women’s Volleyball Team from the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Men’s Basketball Team from the City Government.

The event concluded with the PDLs receiving gift packs and hygiene kits. Moreover, bunk beds were also turned over to the BJMP for the use of the PDLS.
