CGSFLU STRENGTHENS INCLUSIVITY PROMOTION IN RAMBAK PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The City Government of San Fernando, La Union (CGSFLU) strengthened its inclusivity promotion through the conduct of the first Rambak Persons with Disabilities on March 15, 2026, held at the City Plaza Auditorium, as part of the activities for the 28th Cityhood Foundation Anniversary.

To welcome all the participants, Dr. Mark Anthony B. Inocencio, Project Manager of the event, delivered the welcome message on behalf of City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto.

Meanwhile, Mr. Denver Badua, Executive Assistant of Provincial Governor Hon. Mario Eduardo C. Ortega, also delivered a message on behalf of the governor. In addition, City Councilor Hon. Leonardo R. Soriano, Jr. delivered the message of support of City Councilor and Event Chairperson, Hon. Lilibeth G. Hipol.

A mass oath-taking of the newly elected and newly appointed Barangay Persons with Disabilities Association representatives was also conducted during the program.

Further, the event was also an opportunity for the City Government to award Certificates of Appreciation to partner agencies that steadily collaborated and supported the programs, projects, and activities of the local government that promote the welfare of persons with disabilities.

To light up the night, San Fernando City SPED Choir, San Fernando City SPED Dancers, Justine Rivera, and Jerome Sobremonte showcased their talents, proving that having disabilities does not hinder anyone from standing out. A Clown and Magic Show was also performed during the event, which added joy to the attendees.

Cheers to a more inclusive #PeoplesCity28, kakabsat! Let us continue #CelebratingSanFernandoTayo while also supporting our vulnerable sectors in promoting inclusivity.
