A total of 48 officials and members of the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) and the Association of Senior Citizens in the City of San Fernando joined the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools Training conducted by the City Information and Communications Technology Office (CICTO) on October 16–17, 2025.

Held into two batches, the participants were introduced to modern digital tools such as Gemini, ChatGPT, and Basic Canva, designed to help them discover how technology can be a helpful companion in communication, creativity, and daily tasks. The sessions combined lectures and hands-on activities, making AI concepts more approachable and enjoyable for senior participants.

Through this initiative, the City Government aims to equip senior citizens with practical digital skills and nurture confidence in navigating today’s technology-driven world. The program forms part of the Smart and Sustainable Communities Program under Edukasyon Tayo: Support Lifelong Learning and Continuous Education.
