The City Government of San Fernando, La Union, through the Youth, Education, and Sports Development Office and in partnership with the 2025 City Youth Officials, conducted the SURSURo ti Ubbing 2026: Unveiling the Wonders of San Fernando on May 13-14 and 20-21, 2026.

The program gave participants an educational tour around some of the city’s landmarks and tourist sites, namely the Pindangan Ruins, the Bakawan Boardwalk, Carlatan Watchtower, Ma-Cho Temple, La Union Science Centrum and Museum, La Union Botanical Garden, the Poro Point Lighthouse, and the City Hall.

The educational tour aimed to foster cultural, historical, and environmental appreciation and awareness through an immersive learning experience.

The activity was also conducted in collaboration with the Local Economic and Business Development Office – Tourism and Cultural Affairs Division, the City Environment and Natural Resources Office, and the City Library.

Through educational initiatives such as the SURSURo ti Ubbing, the City Government continues to provide enriching experiences that promote learning and personal growth to the youth here in our #PeoplesCity of #SanFernandoTayo.
