The City Government, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), held the payout of subsidy for solo parents, and the discussion of the Internal Rules and Regulations for the Integrated SOlo Parent’s Optimal Support in Raising Their Children Alone (iSoPORT CA) at the ABC Hall on May 7, 2025.

The program aims to provide cash subsidy for minimum wage-earning solo parents in the city.

Moreover, the CSWDO also informs the public that qualified solo parents who wishes to apply for a solo parent ID may attend the orientation programs every Thursday at the CSWDO Conference Room.

The program was conducted in accordance to the Republic Act No. 11861, or the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act of 2022, which entitles low-income solo parents to a cash subsidy of PhP 1,000 per month, to be given every 3 months.
