CHO BEGINS COVID-19 VACCINATION TO 96 HEALTHCARE WORKERS

The City Government of San Fernando through the City Health Office (CHO) already began its CoViD-19 Vaccination Inoculation Program to the health workers, contact tracers and other frontliners who are classified as the first priority group to get the first shot. This is in line with the City Government’s commitment to further strengthen the fight against CoViD-19.
According to Dr. Arman Carrera, City Health Officer, a total number of 96 frontliners received the first dose of Astrazeneca last Friday, March 20 ,2021. The following health workers and frontliners were properly screened before getting vaccinated. All vaccine recipients were monitored for 15-30 minutes after vaccination.
The City Government of San Fernando continues to prioritize the welfare of our frontliners as they are the ones who are mostly at risk during this time of public health emergency. With the beginning of CoViD-19 Vaccination, we can now be more optimistic and hopeful that we can soon recover from this public health crisis and return to our normal way of living for #SanFernandoAyaytenKa
