
The City Government of San Fernando, through the City Incident Management Team (IMT), donated Personal Protective Equipment to different hospitals and national government agencies across the People’s City last June 7, 2020.
Bethany Hospital and La Union Medical Diagnostic Center received 60 hazmat suits, 60 face shields, 50 pieces of shoe cover, 50 pieces of surgical caps and 4 boxes of disposable gloves to each hospital.
The Philippine Navy also received 60 pieces of hazmat suits, 60 pieces of face shields, 60 pieces of shoe cover, 60 pieces of surgical caps, 4 boxes of disposable gloves, 100 pieces of washable masks and 6 containers of alcohol.
Moreover, the City also donated 50 pieces of hazmat suits, 50 pieces of face shields, 50 pieces of shoe cover, 50 pieces of surgical caps and 2 boxes of disposable gloves to the Philippine Coast Guard.
The City IMT has been serving the People’s City for almost three months since the start of the community quarantine here in San Fernando. They have been on duty since the start of the community quarantine to monitor the status of the City and manage unplanned incidents. Last June 7, 2020, was also their last day of operation.
As we transition to the #NewNormal let us give back to the people who bravely fought in these uncertain times. The City Government of San Fernando will always do its best to ensure the safety of the constituents. The love that we have for our people is for #SanFernandoAyayatenKa.
