The City Government headed by City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, together with the various department heads and representatives, convened in a breakfast meeting with the officers and members of the Chamber of Commerce of La Union (CCILU) to discuss problems and possible solutions on the market and traffic management in the Mayor’s Conference Room on October 16, 2024.

During the meeting, the CCILU also commended the City Government with its actions and initiatives on mitigating flood-prone areas in the city.

In addition, different feedback mechanisms of the city were presented and encouraged the use of the e-Participation System, an online feedback platform of the city, for a more convenient delivery of feedback.

This meeting served as an avenue for inclusive collaboration to better improve the business and economic situation in the city.
