Together with the 400 less fortunate families from barangays Masicong, Cabarsican, Sacyud, and Pao Sur, the City Government continued to conduct another People’s Day in Barangay Masicong, City of San Fernando, La Union on December 19, 2023.

These families received gift packs and also participated in different activities such as raffle draws, parlor games, and barangay team building, while two bicycles and a wheelchair were distributed to selected beneficiaries.

In addition, free medical services, haircuts, massage, and services from Task Force Umay Mangted Iti Sungbat were also rendered during the People’s Day.

The beneficiaries also had a consultation with the different offices of the City Government such as the Office of the City Assessor, Office of the City Veterinarian, City Civil Registry, City Health Office, City Persons with Disabilities Affairs Office, and City Social Welfare and Development Office.

Furthermore, representatives from the Social Security System, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG were also present in the activity to assist the residents with the services they need related to their respective offices.
