Women’s Month celebration was extended as the City Government through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) organized a 2-day activity with Kalipunan ng Liping Pilipina (KALIPI) in Barangay Catbangen Covered Court.

On the first day, Officer-in-Charge of CSWDO Ms. Rosenda A. Liwanag welcomed the guests and participants followed by a message from City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, who also administered the oath-taking of KALIPI officers thereafter. After the oath-taking, KALIPI members underwent a training with Department of Science and Technology Project Technical Specialist 1 Engr. Reyden Jay D. Nisperos on production of home care products.

Then on the second day, KALIPI members participated in Lutong Negosyo Fest in which they cooked variety nutritious foods and the following were recognized:

First Place: District 3

Second Place: District 10

Third Place: District 4

Best in Food Presentation: District 4

Best Food Description: District 1

Cleanliness Citation: District 12

First to Finish Award: District 12
