The City Government of San Fernando, La Union, through the Office of the City Mayor, distributed educational equipment to all public elementary and secondary schools at San Fernando South Central Integrated School on January 16, 2025.

School heads from 33 public schools received their respective preselected sets of equipment. Smart televisions, printers with scanners, industrial stand fans, mega boxes, sound systems, and public address systems were among the turned-over equipment.

Before the turnover ceremony, City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto emphasized the commitment of the City Government to investing in quality education, noting that empowering one child can uplift the life of his or her family.

Afterwards, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, OIC – Schools Division Superintendent (SDS) of the Department of Education – Schools Division Office (DepEd – SDO) San Fernando City, La Union expressed her gratitude to the City Government.
