The City Government of San Fernando La Union, led by City Mayor Hon. Hermenegildo A. Gualberto, participated in the eGovPH Super App Launching and eLGU Kick-off event held in Agora Event Center, Thunderbird Resorts and Casinos on June 11, 2024.

This initiative of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) aims to extend Information and Communications Technology (ICT) initiatives and services, forge partnerships, and enhance information dissemination of the eGovPH Super App and eLGU program in the Province of La Union.

The event brought together officials and representatives from the DICT, the Provincial Government of La Union, and its component Local Government Units, various sectors, and other stakeholders from the ICT industry.

During the event, Manong Dong delivered his message of support, emphasizing that the initiative will revolutionize how citizens interact with government services and is a significant step towards reducing red tape, streamlining business processes, and making government transactions more convenient for everyone.
