CITY GOVERNMENT KICKS-OFF LINGGO NG KABATAAN, CELEBRATES INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY

The City Government of San Fernando, La Union through the City Local Youth Development Office organized a set of activities to simultaneously conduct the start of Linggo ng Kabataan and celebration of the International Youth Day on August 12, 2023.
Members of the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) and Youth Organizations in the City participated in the Youth Mass held at the St. William the Hermit Cathedral in which City Mayor Hermenegildo A. Gualberto also joined.
Following the holy mass was the Green Skills Lecture by National Youth Commission and the Youth Race with 160 participants from LYDC and various youth organizations held at the La Union Botanical Garden.
Present during the activity were City Councilors Hon. Kyle Marie Eufrosito Y. Nisce, Hon. Edwin H. Yumul, Hon. Mark Anthony A. Ducusin, and Sangguniang Kabaatan Federation President Hon. Precious P. Basila.
These activities were organized with the help of City Environment and Natural Resources Office, Special Projects Office-Lakas ng Pagbabago, City Health Office, City General Services Office, and the Bureau of Fire Protection.
The City Government celebrates the achievements of the young generations and acknowledges the challenges they face. Together as a #PeoplesCity, let us recognize the vital role of the youth here in #SanFernandoTayo.
