
LOOK: The City Government of San Fernando, La Union, led by City Mayor Alf Ortega, faced the panel of judges yesterday, September 29, 2020, for the final selection of the 2020 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Units (LGUs) Awards in the Philippines. Part of the San Fernando delegation are Vice Mayor Chary Nisce, Local Economic and Business Development Officer Ms. Rizalyn Medrano, and various department heads led by City Administrator Atty. Aileen Lubiano.
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) leads the annual search of excelling cities and provinces that enable businesses and companies to thrive and succeed in their respective localities. Competing in the Level 3 Category are the City of San Fernando, La Union, Tuguegarao City and Cauayan City in Region 2, Balanga City in Region 3, Iriga City in Region 5, Tagbilaran City in Region 7, Surigao City in Region 10, Panabo City in Region 11 and Koronadal City in Region 12. The City of San Fernando is the only finalist from Region 1.
PCCI will announce the winners during the 46th Philippine Business Conference on October 7-8, 2020.
