CITY OF SAN FERNANDO ENTERS INTO SISTERHOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF BORONGAN

The City of San Fernando and the City of Borongan, Samar, manifest their mutual desire to improve efforts to support peace and understanding by doing people-to-people interaction in the scope of culture, education, new technology, commerce, trade, agriculture, ecology and local governance. These efforts can be better achieved through awareness of the people of both cities.
Part of the sisterhood agreement are cross visits between the two cities, exchanging of development programs and best practices to learn new things from each other, as well as promotion of economic cooperation, commerce and investment by providing access to respective ports and foreign trade zones and establishment of San Fernando-Borongan Investment Committee. Both cities also agreed to consider additional project proposals that are in-line with the criteria and budget which offer common benefit and promote people-to-people relations.
This is one of the City’s SMART way to comprehend and move forward towards development by opening new doors that will take Pamilyang San Fernando to greater heights while showing #SanFernandoAyAyatenKa.
