With 78% of our current enrollees preferring modular teaching over online/offline teaching, the City Schools Division of San Fernando found the need to purchase a reproduction machine to be used in the duplication of teacher-made modules.
Last January 26, 2021, the City Mayor Dong Gualberto and the Local School Board has turned over one (1) reproduction machine funded by the Special Education Fund. This machine which will serve more or less 20, 000 pupils in our City. Mayor Dong also visited the teachers who are currently making and reproducing another batch of modules for the students.
Present during the Memorandum of Agreement signing are City Mayor Dong Gualberto, City Councilor Arnel Almazan, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Rowena C. Banzon, and staff from the Office of the City Mayor and Local School Board.
The City Government of San Fernando recognizes that education in the new normal is difficult for both our teachers and students. To address this and achieve San Fernando’s recovery from this pandemic, Mayor Dong has forwarded his 3-point agenda: Economic Recovery, Education and Healthcare for all. While we have carried out interventions for these three sectors, there is still so much more we have to do. Through our continued collective efforts, we will rise up as one #SanFernandoTayo. We will make sure of it.
