City Health Office, in collaboration with the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth), conducted free registration and enlistment assistance to the constituents of the City of San Fernando held at the covered court of Barangay Poro.

This activity brought opportunity to the unregistered residents in PhilHealth Insurance to be guided and assisted from registration up to enlistment to their preferred Philhealth Konsulta Provider.

Joint efforts of pharmacists, nurses, and physicians from the Department of Health – Center for Health Development 1, Provincial Government of La Union, La Union Medical Society, and Lorma Medical Center made the activity successful.

Moreover, free health screening and assessment, dental, and pharmacy services were given to the residents as part of their participation.

Barangay Council, Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Service Point Officers of Barangay Poro and San Agustin were also present to extend their assistance in this activity through manpower and transport needs.
