GASOLINE STATION INSPECTION FOR CONSUMER PROTECTION
The City Treasury Office inspected the gasoline station buckets and pumps in the City last Monday and Tuesday, March 8 to 9, 2021.
The team of employees from the Treasury Office successfully finished inspecting and calibrating the buckets and pumps of all 23 gasoline stations in the City within two days.
It is important to conduct these inspections to ensure that the gasoline being sold to the public is measured accurately and consumers get exactly what they pay for.
Inspections are done by local government units once every quarter, as mandated by Provincial Ordinance No. 183-2019.
San Fernando residents can rest assured that the City Government will continue to diligently uphold its responsibility to protect our consumers from fraud.
