NEWLY INSTALLED CITY POLICE CHIEF PAID COURTESY TO CITY DAD
The City Government of San Fernando welcomes the newly-installed Chief of Police (COP) Police Major (PMAJ) Benjie Daireu Umalla through a courtesy visit held today, May 10, 2021 at the City Vice Mayor’s Office (OCVM). He was accompanied by PMAJ Garry Anthony M. Casem, PCOL. Jonathan G. Calixto, the Provincial Director of La Union Police Provincial Office (LUPPO) and the outgoing COP PLTCOL Orly Z. Pagaduan.
PMAJ Umalla vows to continue and even intensify the programs started by the previous officer-in-charge of the City, PLTCOL Orly Z. Pagaduan. He also promised to strengthen anti-crime initiatives in support of the City Government’s thrust to achieve peace, safety and security for the Pamilyang San Fernando.
Acting City Mayor Alf expressed his appreciation to the outgoing COP of the City of San Fernando, La Union, PLTCOL Orly Z. Pagaduan, for his service and relentless support for the City’s fight against CoViD-19. PLTCOL Pagaduan was also awarded by the Police Regional Office 1 for leading the successful conduct of two Anti-illegal drugs operations (Buy Bust) in Barangay San Francisco and Barangay Madayegdeg that resulted in the arrest of 3 suspects and, last May 6, 2021.
Moving forward, both government institutions aim to look for more ways to uphold peace and order as well as in protecting the citizens from CoViD-19.
