To ensure peace and order within the City, the City Government of San Fernando, La Union headed by City Mayor Alf Ortega convened peace and order representatives yesterday, February 11, 2020, at the People’s Hall.

They gathered to discuss the series of events relating to peace and order as well as ensure the enforcement of strategic plans and measures to strengthen the City Government‘s response to incidents and crimes.

Aside from strengthening the enforcement of the safety and security plan, the peace and order representatives with the leadership of Mayor Alf is looking at providing additional CCTV cameras around the City. They have also discussed expanding the Peace and Order Group to the barangays and volunteer groups, utilizing the SWAT Team, and intensifying inspections and patrol in the City to mitigate the number of crimes.

City Mayor Alf assures the community that he would prioritize the safety, security and protection of the residents against crimes. The City is mobilizing all available resources and workforce to promote peace and order and maintain a secure atmosphere for the People’s City.

City Officials headed by Mayor Alf, along with Hon. Ramon Ortega, Hon. Tony Jucar, Hon. John Orros and Hon. Ramon Guio Ortega, as well as peace and order representatives from the City of San Fernando – Philippine National Police, City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office Bureau of Fire Protection, City Heath Office, Knowledge Management and Corporate Communications Office, City Planning and Development Office, City Legal Office, City Budget Office and Office for Strategy Management were present at the meeting.
