To elevate the healthcare services in the City of San Fernando, La Union, the City Government officially opened and inaugurated the newly constructed Super Health Center in Barangay Sibuan-Otong, in support to clients from far flung areas of the city, on June 25, 2024.

Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” T. Go graced the inauguration activity followed by the ribbon cutting ceremony along with veteran actor Phillip Mikael R. Salvador, Department of Health Center for Health Development 1 Assistant Regional Director 1 Dr. Pretcelle Tolentino, Provincial Administrator Francisco Emmanuel R. Ortega III, and Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO) La Union Development Manager IV Irene Madonna M. Oliver – Almeda, and City Mayor Hon. Hermenegildo A. Gualberto.

Also present during the activity were City Administrator Col. Ramon F. Laudencia, City Health Office Department Head Dr. Michael C. Bangloy, City Health Officer I Dr. Romulo Monico, as well as the Barangay Health and Wellness Volunteers.

The construction of Super Health Center aims to significantly strengthen the healthcare sector, particularly in underserved areas to increase access to primary health care.
