Department of Health Center for Health Development Region 1 Information Officer II Jomara Chan and Nurse I Jemalyn Gabao of the Health Education Promotion Unit visited Mayor Dong last July 6, 2021 to hand over information, education and communication materials for the City’s campaign against COVID-19.

During the visit, Mayor Dong was asked regarding the City’s current campaign against COVID-19 and on the vaccination rollout. Mayor Dong positively replied that the program is going well and that there is an increase in the number of vaccinated residents given the intensified information dissemination and campaign of the City on the benefits of the vaccine.

Lastly, Mayor Dong asked for the continued support of DOH – CHD Region 1 in the City’s ongoing battle against Covid-19.

Councilor Arnel “Lakay” Almazan was also present to receive the IEC materials.
