FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE INCREASE FOR THE NEEDY STUDENTS

Through the leadership of Acting City Mayor Alf Ortega, starting next school year, beneficiaries of the City Social Welfare and Development Office Educational Assistance Program will receive an increase in their yearly and semestral stipends.
From 2000 PHP, our high school student beneficiaries will receive an additional 1000 PHP per year. Meanwhile, our college student beneficiaries’ stipend will increase from 4000 PHP to 5000 PHP per semester. Recognizing the rising cost of goods, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Sally Matoza requested for this 1000 PHP increase, which Acting City Mayor Alf Ortega approved. CSWDO currently has 40 high school and 20 college student beneficiaries.
The City Government, through the CSWDO, is planning to increase the number of beneficiaries that they support by next year.
The City Government is always committed in providing necessary assistance to our future leaders who will make #SanFernandoAyaytenKa a better place to live in.
