After almost half a month of strict quarantine in the isolation facility here in the City of San Fernando, La Union, four (4) COVID-19 recoveries were in tears of joy as they were sent home yesterday, July 27, 2020. The fifth recovery underwent strict home quarantine.

According to the City Health Office (CHO), the identified recoveries are the following:

Patient # 5, 36-year-old female from Barangay Cadaclan

Patient # 7, 36-year-old female from Barangay Sevilla

Patient # 8, 40-year-old female from Barangay Poro

Patient # 9, 39-year-old female from Barangay Catbangen; and

Patient #11, 30-year-old male from Barangay Langcuas

The Department of Health (DOH) Center for Health Development (CHD) Regional Office-1 confirmed the recovery of Patient #5 last July 11, 2020, after receiving negative swab test results, while Patients #7, #8, #9 and #11 received their negative test results on July 16, 2020. All five cases were asymptomatic. CHO hopes for the recovery of other patients as more others are in stable condition.

All our efforts in winning against this pandemic are now reaping good results. Let us continue cooperating and helping one another as we overcome this challenge.
