Still in celebration of the Cityhood Aniversary, the City Veterinary Office conducted Pet Day and opened the event with pets lining up to march at the City Plaza, showcasing their unique costumes and dresses on March 11, 2023.

After the parade was the pet blessings and welcoming remarks form our City Veterinarian Dra. Flosie Decena.

The City of San Fernando offered various services such as anti-rabies vaccinations, deworming, vitamin supplementation, consultation, and basic grooming. Moreover, K9 EOD of PNP RO1 and PCGNWL demonstrated how they train their dogs for service and showcased basic tips on how to train them.

We also had mascot special intermission numbers from Topbreed’s Potchi and Doggie’s Choice Diko, in which pets wagged their tails off as they danced to the zumba beats.

Winners of the different categories were given prizes by our sponsors, as well as cash incentives.
