The Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) Executive Committee convened yesterday, June 22, 2020, at the People’s Hall.
During the meeting, concerns regarding present projects like infrastructure funded by the GAD Plan budget, GAD Hotline for the city, protection center for women and children, and proposed bike lanes in the city were discussed.
The plans were refocused and aligned with the City’s COVID-19 initiatives as well as the response and recovery plan.
Present in the meeting were City Mayor Alf Ortega, Vice Mayor Chary Nisce, City Government department heads, representatives from DILG, PNP PWD, and women’s sector.
Your City Government will continue to create gender-friendly spaces that empower women and children.
