
The City Government of San Fernando has imposed guidelines on how to safely celebrate the holidays amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mayor Dong Gualberto signed EO 155-2020, an executive order establishing guidelines to regulate mass gatherings, activities and practices related to Christmas 2020 and New Year’s Celebration in the City of San Fernando, La Union to prevent the spread of the novel corona virus-19.
Under this directive, face-to-face caroling and temporary tiangges are prohibited. Curfew hours are set from 11 pm to 5 am, during which the sale of liquor is banned.
This executive order is effective today, Dec 10, 2020 until January 1, 2021.
Mayor Dong encourages everyone to celebrate the holidays in a simple but meaningful way by keeping safe inside our homes.
