GOVERNANCE TRANSITION: Following the reinstatement of Hon. Dong Gualberto as the City Mayor  of the City of San Fernando, La Union,  representatives from the Office of the City Vice Mayor turned over to the Office of the City Mayor important documents pertaining to the governance and operations of the City of San Fernando in accordance to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019-39.

Mayor Dong together with the City Administrator, and the City Legal Officer, personally received the vital documents from Ms. Mickey Galang, Chief of Staff of Vice Mayor Alfredo Pablo R. Ortega, who was on official leave during the event. City Local Government Operations Officer (LGOO) Lily Ann Colisao facilitated the simple turn-over ceremonies at the OCM conference room, on November 09, 2020.

Manong Dong extended his gratitude to Vice Mayor Alf and to the City Council for their great efforts in serving the City of San Fernando while he was away. “I am looking forward for a better and more productive relationship with Vice Mayor Alf and the City Council,” Mayor Dong said. (KMCCO-IDS)
