Improved San Fernando children's park now underway

Construction for the improvement of San Fernando’s Children’s Park started July 29, 2021, and is expected to be completed before the year ends.
The City received a P14M grant from the Department of Budget and Management for the Children’s Park upgrade, as part of their Green, Green, Green program.
This initiative aims to develop the country’s public spaces to become more livable and sustainable.
Once finished, San Fernando residents can expect to have new and better facilities in the park, including a closed gazebo and open lawn for public use.
In the meantime, vendors formerly occupying the Children’s Park have been relocated to the City Plaza stage.
The City Government would like to thank the Department of Budget and Management for their generous greening grant. It will surely help boost San Fernando’s economic recovery and environmental sustainability efforts.
Meanwhile, we encourage everyone to stay at home for now, so that we can control the spread of the virus. Hopefully, next year, we will get to enjoy this park together as one #SanFernandoTayo.
