The Local Youth Development Office turned over computer and printer sets to the SK Chairpersons of 17 Barangays in San Fernando this morning, March 8. This initiative was made possible through the support of the Office of the City Mayor headed by Acting City Mayor Alf Ortega.
The equipment will be used in their respective SK Teen Centers to help students cope with the demands of blended learning. These computer and printer sets will also supplement the tablets distributed last year.
The first batch of SK councils to receive this donation are from Apaleng, Bacsil, Brgy. II, Biday, Bungro, Cadaclan, Catbangen, Dallangayan Este & Oeste, Ilocanos Sur, Masicong, Nagyubuyuban, Pagdalagan, Poro, Saoay, Sevilla, and Tanqui.
LYDO is only waiting for the rest of the SK councils in San Fernando to finish their resolutions authorizing the signing of the deed of donation.
The City Government, hand in hand with the SK Federation, will continue to work to provide the needs of our youth.
