RESPONSIVE GOVERNANCE: Mayor Dong challenges the Department Heads to get in line in order to deliver clear-cut and immediate solutions to the City’s three areas of focus — access to health services, sustainable economic recovery, and digitally-enabled assistance for the education sector.

According to Mayor Dong, as competent leaders espousing fair-play, the Heads should provide tangible progress that will directly benefit those mostly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic — our brothers and sisters who lost their jobs, displaced OFWs, Senior Citizens, students, MSMEs, farmers, and fisherfolk. “Sana hindi tayo mawala sa kumpas natin at direksyon,” he told them.

To continue and improve inclusiveness in health and safety, the City Health Office and the City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office will collaborate.

For economic recovery, the Local Economic and Business Development Office (LEBDO) will work with the Office of the City Agriculturist, Office of the City Veterinary, City Planning and Development Office (CPDO), and City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).

Lastly, for technology enhanced learning, the Information Technology Section will take charge, along with CPDO, Local School Board and CSWDO.

In the next two months, the People of the City of San Fernando will expect results.
