MAYOR DONG LEADS LOCAL VACCINE PLAN, INSPECTS POSSIBLE VACCINATION SITES.

Finalizing the Local Vaccine Plan is one of the current priorities of the City Government this quarter. This includes inspecting venues which could be tagged as possible vaccination centers once the vaccine is in roll-out.
Yesterday, January 27, 2021, City Mayor Hermenegildo “Dong” Gualberto together with the City IATF Technical Working Group headed by Dr. Romulo Monico, City Health Office frontline heroes, and Incident Management Team represented by Mr. Andrew Fil Gonzales, and City Schools Division led by Dr. Rowena Banzon conducted an inspection of elementary schools in the City including South Central School, Catbangen Central School and Lingsat Elementary School. Mayor Dong is pushing for the partnership with the Department of Education through the City Schools Division to ensure easy access of identified beneficiaries to the COVID-19 vaccine centers.
The inspection is simultaneous with the Local Finance Committee’s assignment to finalize funding as well as coordinate with the national government and pharmaceutical companies in procuring the Covid-19 vaccines.
Planning even the minicule details of the vaccination plan is what Mayor Dong is working on for the past few weeks. He said “Kailangan nating siguraduhin na hands on tayo sa bawat detalye ng vaccination plan natin. Hindi titigil sa pagbili lang ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 ang vaccination plan. Kailangan siguraduhing nabusisi ng maigi ang bawat hakbang bago pa dumating ang mga bakuna. People of San Fernando only deserves the best plan para masigurado ang bawat oportunidad ng pagbangon ng bawat isa.”
We are undoubtedly going through a lot of adversities but we will surely rise up from these as long as we stay together and help one another. The City Government of San Fernando always puts your safety and security as its top priority. Be with us as we anchor our City above these challenges. Together, we shall rise.
