The City Government, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), organized and launched a community pantry at the “Kubo” (under the Acacia Tree) beside the City Hall on April 14, 2026.

The community pantry started with the donations from the staff of the CSWDO, City Federation of Senior Citizens Association Incorporated (CFSCAI), Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA), and City of San Fernando Day Care Workers Association. Later on, more offices joined the community pantry and donated in-kind.

This Community Pantry is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and will cater to the beneficiaries until supplies last. The initiative aims to provide free and fresh products to our city’s tricycle and jeepney drivers, 4Ps beneficiaries, and indigent senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and solo parents.
