ModulHaus Inc. through Mr. Richard Chan in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office 1 through Science Research Specialist II Michael John Maquiling, donated a unit of fabricated Specimen Collection Booth (SCB) for the City of San Fernando.
Mayor Alf Ortega received the SCB on June 11, 2020, and it was installed in Barangay Saoay. The City Government initially plans to use this for testing barangay frontliners.
Indeed, innovation is significant in controlling the spread of COVID-19. Still, it is always heartwarming to experience the generosity that DOST has shown, during one of the biggest challenges we have ever faced. The City of San Fernando believes that if we help each other in fighting COVID-19, together we shall succeed and continue being a healthy San Fernando.
